A Statement of Conscience is a public statement of our views on an issue (usually a social justice issue) that is made by the Unitarian Coastal Fellowship as a church – as opposed to statements made by individuals within our congregation.

When a member or members of our congregation feel that UCF should publish a Statement of Conscience on a social justice issue, there is a process that must be followed to be sure that everyone in the congregation understands the issue and that at least 75% of members of the congregation who vote agree with the statement.
