BIO:
Reverend Gerald Godette is married to Rev. Lynn Stiles Godette, who has also been a guest minister here. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren and live in Morehead City. He is a 30-year retiree of Duke University Marine Lab, where he studied comparative structural properties of blood proteins of humans and animals. Rev. Godette grew up in the church where he started as a minister of music, and is now an ordained elder and pastor of Reels Chapel AME Zion Church in the Merrimon community, east of Beaufort. He loves people and has spent much time in community service, especially with children, and aspires to teach Christian Discipleship.”
