Your Library – Enter, Rejoice and Come In!

Your new UCF Library Team has been working diligently to reorganize and freshen up the library, located in Room 3 of the Rev. Sally B. White Center. We are very grateful to Tom Wentworth and Linda Rudd, who volunteered their time and energy at the beginning to create a welcoming and organized library before UCF first opened the doors of our Bridges Street home in May, 2022. Click here to learn about the beautiful Louis XIV botanical prints donated by Tom and Linda.

The library has several bookcases holding over 500 books in many categories, a comfortable wing-back chair and a platform rocker, donated by Mawadda Almasri, for quiet reading and a table and chairs for small group meetings.

Though we do not have support via the church’s budget for the coming year, we appreciate the monetary donations made by friends in memory of Hillary Schultz and by our UCF book club in memory of Pat Harms. We have a wish list of books we’d like to add to our collection, and we welcome your donations and suggestions.

The library is open during coffee hour following our Sunday services so that members and friends can peruse the collection and borrow a book.  If you are in the building at other times, please make sure to use the sign-out book on the table for both sign-out and sign-in. A basket is provided for returned books.

We will continue to make additions over the next few months and hope that you like what you see thus far!

Sincerely, Your Library Team: Karen Baggott, Sally Davis, Phillip Strickland and Maria Lundgren.
