Wonderful news! In our June Annual Meeting the members of the Unitarian Coastal Fellowship voted to adopt the Eighth Principle:

“We covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse and multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”

Adopting the 8th Principle is a wonderful start, but only the beginning of our journey toward building Beloved Community and working to dismantle racism. This fall we will determine what our next steps will be.
