The Adult Spiritual Education Committee and the Green Sanctuary Committee will be hosting the second in our Social Action Film Series called “The Letter”. It will be on the second Thursday in October, October 12, at 6:30 PM, in the UCF Sanctuary. “The Letter” is a new documentary about how spiritual values call us to take action on the planetary crisis of global warming. It focuses on a small group of people from around the world who have an encounter with Pope Francis that gives them new hope. After we watch the movie, we’ll reflect, talk, and think about how we can take action locally. This event is free and open to the community, so plan to bring a friend and share the information widely!
Of course, we will have free popcorn!
