Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols 5pm

Come sing a song with us … your favorite carols are accompanied with bible verse and modern reflection. How the story of Jesus’ birth impacts our daily lives. We will end holding candles and singing Silent Night to each other.

Nativity: An Intergenerational Participatory Re-living

Join us and come play with us as we tell the story of Jesus’s birth in a no-rehearsal pageant – the Christmas season thrives on family gatherings, so come join this family story. There will be costumes, audience participation, young thespians, old thespians, and a miracle or two.

Hope, Renewal and the Cosmos

If your hope is feeling a little wobbly, come together as we learn how stubborn hope can be. True hope, real hope, runs in us like deep muscle memory – setting us in motion when we don’t know how to move on our own.

Death, Dying, and Dandelions

Join us for a reflection on legacy, where we explore the intertwining themes of death, dying, and the enduring gifts we leave behind. Through the wonder of dandelions we’ll consider how our values, stories, and generosity can seed a future grounded in love and purpose.

The Thinning of the Veil

Join us for a time to remember our loved ones who have passed on and transitioned – what messages do we have for them, and what messages do they have for us? We will work at mutual healing of these relationships. Please bring photos of your loved ones to build a community altar.

I Want to Pray for Peace

Do Unitarian Universalists pray? Certainly! And in so many ways. And to whom do we pray? Such big questions … come, let’s explore them together. (This sermon was purchased at the auction by Penny & Mark Hooper!)

A Circle, A Boundary, and Belonging

Everything is relevant when we talk about belonging. The challenges we face collectively at this time … really any challenge in life, is an invitation to belonging. Belonging is our capacity to feel joy, freedom, and love in any moment.
