“Wilmington on Fire” – September 14 6:30 pm

UCF is hosting our first Social Justice Film Series!
The Social Justice Committee, the Welcoming Congregation Team, the Green Sanctuary Team, The Anti-Racist Team and the Adult Spiritual Enrichment Committee will be teaming up in the next months to bring you a series of documentaries concerning several areas of Social Justice. Our very first film will be shown on September 14 at 6:30pm in the UCF Sanctuary! The documentary “Wilmington on Fire,” directed by Christopher Everett, documents the 1898 Wilmington massacre, when a group of white supremacists violently overthrew the legitimately elected biracial government of Wilmington, NC. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. There is no charge for attending but donations will be welcome. Please plan to join us! Questions? Contact Holly at 509-607-2055 or [email protected].
