Thanks to everyone’s hard work and input, we at UCF have made important progress in our racial justice journey in 2023 and we have adopted the Eighth Principle:

“We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”

But, of course, this is just the beginning and now is the time to review 2023 and to begin to contemplate how we might best continue to live the Eighth Principle in 2024. Please join us on December 6 to briefly review 2023 and to share ideas for 2024. We’ve come up with some exciting possibilities and would love to have your ideas and input.
