Social Action Hosts Tea Party for Twisted Sisters

The Social Action Committee hosted the very first event in our beautiful new social hall on Tuesday, June 14. We held a tea party, complete with myriad varieties of tea and a table full of homemade treats including scones, cookies, meat and veggie rollups, to thank the wonderful women who every year knit and crochet many, many hats, scarves, bags, and other lovely items for us to include in our holiday gift bag giving.

The talented Twisted Sisters meet at the Senior Center once a week.  It was a delight to sit and visit with them, learn more about their many creative projects and get to know them better. The tea party makes them feel appreciated and acknowledges their major contribution to our community.
