Your ASE committee has been hard at work, and we have an exciting couple of months ahead. Several new activities are planned, and so mark them on your calendars!
Starting in November, we’ll be having a Vespers service at the Fellowship sanctuary (in-person only) on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 6:30. Vespers services are intended to be a time of quiet refreshment from the hustle and bustle of the weekdays; the services typically will include acapella singing, readings and poetry, meditation, and candle lightings. Vespers are planned for November 9, November 30, and for the first and third Wednesdays starting in December (December 7 and 21) and into the new year.
Immediately following most Vespers services on Wednesday evenings, we’ll have activities available in the social hall. November 30 we’ll have our first Plant-based Potluck (formerly known as Meatless Mondays), an opportunity to expand your culinary experience and benefit the planet, deliciously! On December 7, expand your intellectual inquiry at Socrates Café.
Also on Friday November 11, at 6:30 pm, bring your family to Games Night, coordinated by JoEllen Essex. We’ll use games and puzzles from our games library, or bring along your favorite card or board game from home.
